PAGE TO STAGE (Grades 1-6)
Tuesdays, 4:30-5:15
In this imaginative and creative class, students will collaborate to write and perform a short form play over the course of nine weeks. In the first four weeks with Ms. Katie, students will work together to brainstorm ideas, develop characters, write scenes, and learn the basics of playwriting. The second four weeks, with Ms. Lexi, will be all about bringing their play to life! Students will explore acting techniques, stage direction, storytelling and more. They'll rehearse their scenes, learn about teamwork, and develop confidence as they prepare for a final performance. In our final week, students will get a chance to perform their work for friends and family. Get ready for a fun and creative adventure where imaginations run wild and every student shines!
