The Spring Musical audition process is intended for serious performers who plan to pursue theatre at a collegiate and/or professional level. Cast members will strengthen their abilities to create a character, analyze text and beats within a script, and harness their power to affect and be affected by language, both spoken and physical. Expectations during this rehearsal process are extremely high, providing an excellent opportunity for performers to experience the rigorous yet rewarding demands of an elite production while maintaining the comfort and approachability of a youth theatre company. The Spring Musical audition process is open to performers of all ages, although those who audition are not guaranteed a role.

HADESTOWN: TEEN EDITION

Deeply resonant and defiantly hopeful, HADESTOWN: TEEN EDITION is an intriguing folk opera following two intertwining love stories – that of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and that of immortal King Hades and his lady Persephone. You’re invited on this hell-raising journey to the underworld and back. Inspired by traditions of classic American folk music and vintage New Orleans jazz, Anais Mitchell’s beguiling sung-through musical pits industry against nature, doubt against faith, and fear against love.
