Technique for Musical Theater (Grades 7-12)
wednesdays, 6:45-7:45
PSP's Katie Mize (Head of Dance) will guide you through the core techniques that make a successful musical theater performer. This class is designed to refine your existing skills and build a strong foundation in proper form and fundamental positions. It will cover essential elements like proper alignment, core strength, and fundamental positions. Focus on turns, kicks, fluidity, and more, and see your dance abilities soar. Perfect for those with prior dance experience but open to all. (6th graders can join on a case by case basis with the approval of Head of Dance.)
MARCH 12 - MAY 28
NOTE: There will be no class on March 19, April 9 or April 30.

COntemporary: Partnering, Tricks, and floorwork (grades 7-12)

Discover a dynamic new dance style in this class designed to boost your skills for the spring musical and beyond! Students will learn the fundamentals of contemporary movement, including partnering techniques, exciting tricks, and expressive floorwork. Develop strength, flexibility, and artistry while building teamwork and confidence on the dance floor. Discover a new love for dance and build lasting teamwork skills!

Broadway Bootcamp (Grades 1-6)
Tuesdays, 3:20-4:20
Taught by PSP’s Katie Mize (Head of Dance) and Suzanne Jalbert Jones (Head of Music), this class will focus on building a core skill of musical theatre: singing and dancing - at the same time! By exploring classic ensemble numbers of the musical theatre cannon, students will grow their skills of material retention, stage presence, healthful vocalization, and dance technique.
JANUARY 7 - APRIL 1
NOTE: There will be no class on January 28 or February 25.
TUITION: $350 + 5% online convenience fee
