PSP is Turning 10!!
And we want you to join us!
As we look ahead to Season 10, we hope to expand our team of dedicated theatre educators. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fostering creativity, nurturing developing talent, and creating a safe and welcoming space. We hope you will help us shape the future of performing arts education at PSP!
The Culture.
PSP is a thriving educational youth theatre company for students in Grades 1 through 12. We are driven by the belief that exposure to the performing arts helps to build the foundation of well-rounded and well-adjusted individuals for the betterment of our world and its future. Our mission is to foster emotional intelligence and communicative abilities, encourage a strong awareness of self and others, and increase both self-confidence and self-discipline through the art of theatre. Students range from recreational theatre lovers who view rehearsals as a social extracurricular, to gifted young artists with intentions to pursue theatre collegiately and beyond. We strive to create an environment in which a wide spectrum of ages and experiences can respect and appreciate each other’s art, leading with inspiration rather than intimidation.
The Values.
Inclusivity. Performers of all ages, skill levels, ethnicities, gender identities, socioeconomic backgrounds, mental and physical differences are welcomed, encouraged, and valued.
Balance. We mount high-quality productions and maintain high expectations, in a safe, respectful, accessible environment for both performers and members of the production team.
Community. Not only do we create a community within our program, but we then use our gifts to benefit the community at large, through entertainment, reflection, and creativity.
