TECH
INTERNSHIPS
Ages 8-17
Our internship is intended for younger individuals with an interest in the technical elements of theatre, including costuming, lighting design and operation, sound design and operation, and set design and building. Participants will shadow, observe, and potentially assist (dependent on age/skill-level) the technical production team during Tech Weeks and performances of mainstage productions. Children and teens who have an interest in theatre but may not enjoy being in the spotlight may find a great fit for themselves behind the scenes!
APPRENTICESHIPS
(Ages 18+)
Our apprenticeship program is intended for those interested in eventually taking on a role on our technical production team, including costuming, lighting design and operation, sound design and operation, and set design and building. Participants will receive free hands-on training alongside PSP's current team of experienced theatre professionals. The goal of the apprentice program is to successfully prepare individuals to assist with (or fully run) technical positions in their field of interest during Tech Weeks and performances of mainstage productions. This is an excellent way for tech-minded parents or older siblings to become involved, making theatre a family affair!
